The Challenge

The need to promote economic development in a sustainable manner became a challenge for GRÁFICAS DIAMANTE. For this reason, we have implemented management tools, providing the company with planning methods that allow achieving a balance between economic, social and environmental aspects.

Environmentally Friendly Chemical Substances

We seek to strengthen our commitment to the environment, implementing substances that minimize the negative impact generated on the planet. An example is RESISTA COFREE, a range of rub-resistant offset inks, without mineral oils and made with renewable raw materials, which allow compliance with the specifications of ISO 2846-1 and ISO 12647-2 standards.

Materials

At GRÁFICAS DIAMANTE we have suppliers that have sustainable practices in their DNA, as they are in search of a transformation that brings them closer to a new era of opportunities in terms of material efficiency, social inclusion and creative approaches for products and services.

These suppliers allow us to carry out our production processes guaranteeing the best quality, in addition to minimizing the impacts generated on the environment.

We contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals

Goal 6: Ensure the availability of water and its sustainable management and sanitation for all

6.3 Improve water quality. Reduce pollution and wastewater.

Goal 12: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

12.5 Reduce waste generation through prevention, recycling and reuse activities.

Goal 15: Sustainably manage forests, fight desertification, halt and reverse land degradation, halt biodiversity loss

15.1 Ensure the conservation and sustainable use of ecosystems, acquiring forest products with a high content of recycled material.

We are committed to extended producer responsibility for containers and packaging

Resolution 1407 OF 2018 aims to promote environmental improvements in the complete life cycles of products and extend the responsibility of producers (manufacturers or importers) to various phases of the total useful life cycle, especially their recovery, use, recovery, recycling and, as a last option, final disposal.
